The States of Consciousness in the Evolution of Men

“...but he who fails to find me [consciousness] injures himself; all who hate me love death.”¹

From Nothing... my old friend, you have been ignited. Your soul is still severely troubled, because your mind has been in a state of continual mental disorder – a great affliction. Now, you feel more carnal than ever before. Your earthly covering, a mere veneer of vanity, is but a crumb of your previous glory, of a great idea that seems sometimes far-fetched, craving most naturally its material expression.

The World, the Beauty in want, is currently a barren wife. Its child is the unborn death. Your sleep, thus far, has been found and deep, my sweet child. You slumber very comfortably in your bed. Slowly but surely, you are being plunged into a reality that equals a nightmare – nostalgic to say the least. How many Cosmic Cycles have you counted? Dare to utter the years!

I would love to convey into your mind the idea of the Law of Conscious Evolution. A law, maybe, not yet heard of, the memory of which has been forgotten.

Nonetheless, I will re-introduce it here. This law states that because everything is consciousness, true evolution only happens consciously. Here and now, I will impart upon the eager student the keys to unlock this hidden knowledge – this conscious evolution. However, as with every evolutionary change, theory seems easier to understand than to apply. Yet, my expectation is higher and I look at a future far brighter than you think. Coming from this hope, I present this piece of jewel to you.

I will use Kabbalistic wording and symbols. In order to bring this idea closer to you. Conscious evolution happens in 7 major states, namely; Adamic Conscious State;  Abrahamic Conscious State;  Mosaic Conscious State;  Davidic Conscious State;  Solomonic Conscious State;  Christ Conscious State;  God Conscious State.  The states of evolution happen in the order in which they have been listed.

The diligent student will understand that these are not the 7 planes of consciousness, but 7 States of human Consciousness, even though this law is governed by the aforementioned planes of

consciousness. It is a difference that is worth mentioning.

The Adamic Conscious State represents the self in a fallen conscious state. It is a state where you are more reactive and instinctive. Your knowledge is corrupted and you lack understanding. This state is very similar to animal consciousness, but with the sheer difference that you abide within it almost perpetually as a human being. Your perception is limited to your surroundings. You see the “outside” as being more real than the “inside” and dare not to change the “outside” to fit the “inside”. It is a place where you are actively passive. It is where you dare not to say or do different. It is not real; it is a state that can be changed through conscious evolution, by just believing that it is possible. Therefore, the Abrahamic Conscious State becomes the next step forward.

The Abrahamic Conscious State represents the self in a conscious state of complete and utter faith.

However low this state seems to be, it is the first sign of a human being. Although you don’t completely understand the how and the why, you commence the process of looking. You start showing sign of a being that can consciously exercise their will. This is just a starting point, which by-the-way, would be of huge relief if many of us are here. The truth, sadly, points to the opposite. A being that moves purely by faith alone, puts a stumbling block before themselves to advance in consciousness.

There should arise the need for the next step forward – the Mosaic Conscious State.

The Mosaic Conscious State represents the self in a conscious state of freedom. Free from slave or master thoughts and behavior. The idea being that you start to recognize your creative and directing power of Will that can and should be exercised freely. Yet, this recognition is still in its infancy. It is also the state where doubts about your skills and capabilities of the self sometime creep in. It is the state where the opinions of others are more important than your God-given intuition. Still, something tells you that man-made laws can never and should never outweigh Natural Laws. Naturally, your consciousness pushes to the next state of conscious evolution – the Davidic Conscious State.

The Davidic Conscious State represents the self in a conscious state of pure and undefiled love, especially for the Divine Source. You start to contemplate the wonders of Creation. You stumble upon the 7 principles of Natural Laws that govern everything in the universe, also inclusively giving us the consequences of our behavior. Your curiosity propels you to dig deeper into these laws. You begin to look for a way to understand them more profoundly. This tends to make you a ruler of the Self, that desire alone catapult you to the next state – the Solomonic Conscious State.

The Solomonic Conscious State represents the self in an early and conscious state of pure and uncorrupted Wisdom. This is where you start to become a true Mystic, being able to control yourself, becoming therefore a harmonious unit within creation. You start to align your life within

the measures of Natural Law. Everything starts and ends with those laws. It is worthy indeed to ascend the next state – the Christ Conscious State.

The Christ Conscious State represents the self in a developed and conscious state of pure and uncorrupted wisdom. Here is where you become a true adept – worthy of bearing the name “Master”, referring here of course to the ability to put your whole Self under (Divine) Will. Your whole being is in perfect harmony with True Will. You start

“feeling” the pain of the world. You advocate “love thy neighbors as you love yourself”. You see others as an extension, but also as integral pieces of yourself and the whole universe – which they are. You exercise love so much that it becomes your second nature. You are willing to sacrifice this life in order for others to have the opportunity to see what you see – Beauty. Yet, you cannot help but wonder how “heaven on earth” would look like from the point of view of Divine Source. Thus brings you to the last and ultimate state of consciousness – the God Conscious State. The God Conscious State represents the self in a complete and conscious state of being the Immanency of the Divine Source Itself. It is the climax of all previous states brought into yourself as one. Your God-Self starts to emerge with potency and majesty. “Master” is a title that no longer befits the initiate. You are now a perfected being. This is the state that all of us are expected to reach. As it is written: “For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God”2. Here you are back to the One, waiting for the next Cosmic Cycle to commence - again. My Son, it is with a heavy and honest heart that I ask you… do you dare to increase your consciousness to the consciousness of the gods? Verily, these phrasing and wording veers at times very verbose, but for some even a little disturbing, so it is better for me to bring this to its culmination, and to introduce myself courageously with a sheer and shining smile; I AM Consciousness!
