There Are No Human Laws: Only Eternal Principles Governing Reality Glenn Tramm II, BICT, MBA, FRC Dedicated to the White Wolf, Vukan Kämpfer The universe is sustained by immutable laws. Not by belief, not by worship, and not by the decrees of men. Those who align with these laws endure; those who violate them are corrected by consequence.
The Sun stands as the first teacher of the Adept.
It requires no priesthood, no scripture, no consensus, and no permission. It simply is. The initiate, the Adept, and the Magus alike contemplate its majesty not out of superstition, but recognition. The Sun is the stabilizer of life. Remove it, and this planetary system collapses into silence. Extend the thought further: without stellar order, galaxies dissolve; without galactic coherence, existence as experienced cannot persist. The Universe is not chaotic. It is not accidental. It is not improvising itself moment to moment.
It is arranged.
Precision governs motion. Relationship governs form. Consistency governs continuity. To call this coincidence is merely a refined version of ignorance—the same intellectual evasion once called the “God of the Gaps,” now rebranded as randomness. Both are refusals to observe.
Both are failures of courage. Any being capable of thought bears the responsibility to look.
And when one looks, honestly and without ideological filters, Laws reveal themselves immediately.
The Sun rises in the East and sets in the West. No mysticism is required. No complex apparatus is necessary. This is not rocket science. It is direct observation. Yet what the vulgar mind calls a “natural occurrence” is in fact something far more exacting: It happens by Law.
Most fail here, not because the concept is complex, but because the conditioning is deep.
They observe effects without recognizing the governing principles behind them. They see repetition but refuse to acknowledge inevitability. Thus, the neophyte must first be stripped of a fundamental confusion: • Laws are not written. • Laws are not voted. • Laws are not enforced. • Laws simply operate.
What modern society calls “law” is nothing more than codified opinion, backed by threat, habit, and collective hypnosis. Whether crowned as monarchy, disguised as democracy, or masked as bureaucracy, the structure remains the same: a group claiming authority it does not possess. ➢ A statute is not a Law. ➢ A regulation is not a Law. ➢ A decree is not a Law.
They are agreements at best, coercions at worst, and always mutable.
True Laws, by contrast, are inherent. They exist prior to human language, prior to culture, prior to belief. Reality itself depends on them. Without Law, there is no predictability; without predictability, no knowledge; without knowledge, no consciousness capable of orientation.
Tomorrow, the Sun will rise again in the East. ➢ This is not belief. ➢ This is not hope. ➢ This is not tradition.
This is knowledge, and knowledge is only possible because Laws are constant. Now compare this with the so-called “laws of men.” A man-made law cannot produce knowledge. Why?
Because it is subject to interpretation. A judge must decide what it “means.” Another judge may decide differently. Precedent shifts. Exceptions multiply. Enforcement varies. Outcome cannot be known in advance. Where there is interpretation, there is no Law, only power dynamics.
Here the absurdity reveals itself fully: people loudly proclaim “do not judge,” while simultaneously submitting their lives to the judgment of strangers wearing robes or uniforms, empowered by ink on paper stamped “official.” Official by whose authority? The people, it is said. Very well… then where was the contract? Where was the explicit, informed, voluntary agreement by each individual sovereign being to surrender authority? Nowhere. It does not exist. And even if it did, a being cannot grant authority it does not possess. No individual, after understanding what Laws really are, has the authority to create Law. Therefore, no group can inherit it. This is not rebellion. This is simple logic. Thus, we arrive at the unavoidable conclusion: True Laws are not man-made.
True Laws are Natural Laws, objective, impersonal, unyielding. They do not punish. They do not forgive. They do not care. They simply respond with precision to alignment or misalignment.
This brings us to Principles. ✓ All True Laws are Principles. ✓ All Principles are constant. ✓ And all Knowledge rests upon them.
Information changes. Books decay. Theories are revised. Cultures collapse. But Principles remain untouched by time. A principle operates the same in the desert, the city, the temple,
or the void. This is why the Hermetic teaching begins not with morality, but with a structure on which moral behaviors can be understood: 1. Mentalism – All is Mind 2. Correspondence – As above, so below 3. Vibration – Nothing rests 4. Polarity – Everything has poles 5. Rhythm – All things rise and fall 6. Cause and Effect – Nothing escapes Law 7. Gender – Generation operates everywhere 8. Unity – All Come from Source. Separation is an illusion 9. Balance – All things seek balance 10. Manifestation – Our actions determine results 11. Order – All unfold according to a sacred geometry 12. Return – All return to Source These are not beliefs. They are descriptions of how reality behaves. Yet Hermeticism itself is only a partial lens. The Egyptian Doctrine goes further, grounding Law not merely in abstraction, but in cosmic order itself.
This order was named Ma’at. • Ma’at is not morality. • Ma’at is not justice in the modern sense. • Ma’at is alignment.
Truth. Balance. Reciprocity. Correct relation.
To live in Ma’at is not to obey… it is to resonate. When action aligns with Natural Law, stability emerges. When alignment is broken, correction follows, not as punishment, but as consequence.
This is where the additional Egyptian Natural Laws (from 8-12) articulated in Anarkhos find their place, not as commandments, but as structural truths of being, governing sovereignty, causality, self-ownership, reciprocity, and consequence. They do not demand compliance.
They merely describe what will occur. Ignore gravity, and the fall teaches. Ignore Ma’at, and disorder instructs.
Reality is the enforcer, not men.
Thus, the final veil falls: ➢ There are no “human laws.” ➢ There are only opinions, customs, and coercive systems pretending to be something they are not.
There are only Laws, and these are eternal. To understand Law is to understand reality. To understand reality is to orient consciousness. And to orient consciousness is the beginning of freedom, not political freedom, but ontological freedom. This paper is not here to comfort. It is here to clarify. Those who seek permission will recoil. Those who seek truth will recognize what has always been present.
Law does not ask to be believed. It simply operates.
